It flies and swims well! The reflector attracts and makes the fish bite! A floating minnow with honed basic performance.
The floating type World Minnow 115F is equipped with a flash boost that continues to attract fish with a bright flashing light even while it is floating. The flash boost's sparkle is particularly effective from May to September, when fish are more likely to react to floating objects. It is also recommended to let it dart around structures such as reeds and rocks, and then let it float
Key Features
The World Minnow 115 now has a floating (F) model!

The World Minnow 115, which incorporates all of Shimano's cutting-edge technologies, including not only "Flash Boost" but also "Jet Boost" and "Scale Boost", now has a floating (F) model in its lineup!
How to use the World Minnow 115SP and 115F. What you can do with the 115F.
When it comes to minnow plugs and jerk baits, suspending (SP) models are the most common.
Black bass movements tend to be particularly slow during periods of low water temperature such as spring and late autumn, so being able to "stop" them underwater is a big advantage. At the same time, it is an excellent match for the Flash Boost, which continues to flash as the reflector inside the body continues to move with a time lag even after you stop retrieving or action.
Naturally, the lure that is most effective during these low water temperatures is the World Minnow 115SP, but that doesn't mean it's only a lure for low water temperatures.
When the water temperature rises and becomes suitable for black bass, they naturally begin to actively chase baitfish, sometimes even feeding on the surface of the water.
Feeding times are early morning and late evening, but even during the day, areas with strong currents such as inside shady areas such as overhangs, backwaters of reservoirs, and the center of river fields can be feeding spots.
Of course, in such situations a minnow-shaped top water plug like the Triple Impact comes in handy, but due to weather and fishing pressure the conditions are not always conducive to the fish feeding vigorously all the way to the surface.
The World Minnow 115F comes in handy when black bass are looking upwards, aware of baitfish, but not feeding on the surface of the water.
The lure dives to a depth of about 1m, which is the depth of the World Minnow, and then rises to the surface like a baitfish being chased. In addition, thanks to the Flash Boost, the lure flashes even as it rises to the surface, so just by stopping and going, it acts like a baitfish being chased to the surface.
This lure is especially suited for techniques such as stopping, floating, showing, and getting fish to bite in very small shade areas such as tree-lined areas and small overhangs on reservoirs, tall weed pillars and bundles that are often seen in the high season on weed lakes, and the edges of reeds on muddy shallow lakes.
World Minnow 115F for obstacle avoidance.
The floating (F) model has a shallower diving depth than the suspending (SP) model, and by taking advantage of its characteristic of "floating when stopped," it is effective in shallow field areas where regular minnow plugs and jerk baits frequently get snagged or stuck.
The World Minnow 115F makes it possible to use suspending minnows in conditions such as spring or late autumn where casting is difficult due to frequent trouble.
World Minnow 115F color selection.

The colors of the World Minnow 115F, like the World Minnow 115SP, are mainly clear colors to make the most of the Flash Boost and have a Scale Boost Real Finish.
Among them, the 003 Kyorin Chart and 005 Chart White have a chartreuse back, making them especially recommended colors for floating models, as they make it easy to see the lure's position and tracing course when it is in action or when it surfaces, and you can also see the fish biting.
Recommended tackle.
When it comes to rods, we recommend an M Power rod in the 6.0 to 6.10 foot class, which allows you to effectively control the lure's action while putting less strain on your wrist when using the rod.
If you are targeting structure tightly and prioritizing accuracy, we recommend a rod under 6.6 feet, but if you are on a big lake and need distance, we recommend a rod over 6.6 feet.
As this is a type of fishing that involves a lot of sudden reaction bites, we recommend a high gear (HG) reel, which makes it easy to instantly recover line slack and allows for stable retrieval.
In addition, by using a nylon line with a light specific gravity so as not to kill the buoyancy of the lure, you can bring out the lure's characteristics even more.
