Average flight distance is over 90m! It flies like a metal jig and swims like a plug!

The Netsuna Wing Beam is designed with the concept of achieving both the casting distance of a sinking pencil and the large wobbling action of a minnow. Regular sinking pencils have a weak swimming action, and the lack of information they convey to the hand makes it difficult to understand their movements. In addition, their shape makes them prone to floating, making range control difficult. The "Wing Head" solves these problems, allowing the lure to swim wide even with a slow retrieve while also improving its range-keeping power, solving the common disadvantages of sinking pencils.

Key Features

It flies well! Stable long-distance casting performance. You can aim for a casting distance of over 100m with a plug!

In tests, it achieved an average flight distance of 97.7m in windless indoor conditions. Two out of five test throws exceeded 100m. "The center of gravity is positioned toward the rear, and the wings act as tails during flight to stabilize the flight posture. The raised tail, which acts as the warhead, cuts through the air and generates lift, increasing flight distance. It has long-distance casting performance that is comparable to that of the Spin Beam."

Swims well! Wing head creates wide wobbling motion

At first glance, it looks like a sinking pencil that deflects water, but its action is a flapping, wobbling roll. "With a simple flat body, the body lies flat when retrieved and moves straight ahead. With the Wing Beam, when the body tries to fall, the wings on its head bite the water and pull it back, and when it tries to fall back again, they pull it back again. This repeat causes it to swim with a flapping, wobbling motion that is very appealing."

"The Wing Beam swims with a flapping motion. It bites the water and creates a strong vibration, so it's easy to keep it at a certain range even when reeled in slowly. Its silhouette is larger than the Spin Beam's, and its flattened body creates a strong flashing effect. It's the smallest plug in the Netsuna series, and another feature of the Wing Beam is its appeal."

Tough! A large #4 hook and ring are attached to the penetrating wire.

"The Spin Beam hooks are #8 on the front and #6 on the rear. On the other hand, the Wing Beam hooks are #4 on the front and rear. The rings are also reinforced with #4. These are connected to the through wire. It is strong enough to withstand not only Zabuton flounder, but also large bluefish, big sea bream and other large fish that you might catch unexpectedly."
