Wild Hunt 8 Footer

An absolute force that needs no explanation. 2.5m Diver Wild Hunt.

The Wild Hunt 8 footer has a diving depth of about 2.5m and inherits the bite-inducing action of the original Wild Hunt. The original Wild Hunt was a threat to bass shallower than 1.5m, but it can still hit the lower range with the same movement, leaving bass with even less room to escape. Of

course, it also inherits the original's high ability to avoid getting caught on rocks. By taking advantage of its diving depth, it is possible to attack the bottom more boldly than ever before. Furthermore, the body has a more voluminous feel than the original, improving castability and adding appeal to the bite-inducing ability.

It has a proven track record, including three consecutive fish over 5 pounds at the Bassmaster Classic 2014 in early spring and a string of fish over 50 cm at a TV location shoot in the Yodo River in late autumn. The Wild Hunt 8 Footer is the core of Morizo Shimizu's cranking, regardless of the field or season, and needs no further explanation.

  • 3D Hyper Lip Design
The 3D hyper lip design reliably grips the water and combines wobbling and rolling at a high level, inducing bites not only with bottom knocking but also with simple retrieve. Also, by being larger than the original, the ability to avoid hard cover such as timber and riprap has been further improved.
  • Body design
The body design takes into consideration air resistance during casting and water resistance during retrieval. Even without a center of gravity shifting system, it achieves sufficient casting distance, produces sharp action and boasts outstanding cover slip-through performance.
  • Full tungsten fixed weight
The two large tungsten weights give the lure a low center of gravity. The fixed weight system is deliberately used, and is placed further forward than the original, making it easier to dive down to lower ranges, while still retaining the same action as the original, and contributing to improved sharpness and resistance to water pressure.
  • Hook Balance
The hook size at the front is small (#5) and the hook at the back is large (#4). The front hook is designed not to swing too hard during action, and the high-strength treble hook Treble Magic is standard equipment, which makes it easy to hook and hard to lose. This reduces snagging and improves the hooking rate.
