Heavy Bait Jigging Rod
The awakening setting to conquer the ultimate stage.
The "NO.6" and "NO.8" expedition models have been very well received since their release. In response to requests from users who use them for large tuna fishing, we have made significant improvements.
The conventional blanks have been redesigned primarily for PE lines from #3 to #8, and the guide setting has been completely updated to an "all-titanium SiC guide specification" to withstand the long fights of yellowfin and bluefin tuna. Three FUJI KWSG titanium frame SiC guides (25, 20, 16) are used on the butt section, and by specializing in large baitcasting reels, it has become overwhelmingly easier to use with electric reels such as the Beastmaster series. In deep-sea jigging with an electric reel, a 50kg oilfish was pulled out using the Beastmaster jigging mode while the reel was fixed to the side of the boat with a Lark.
NO.6 is for those targeting yellowfin tuna, longfin tuna, and amberjack on expeditions using large baits and electric reels. NO.8 is designed for big game anglers targeting bluefin tuna that approach the shores of Aomori and Hokkaido, amberjack on expeditions affected by the complex currents of the Kuroshio Current, and amberjack, deep-sea oilfish, and rockfish using electric reels. With the recent increase in the size of bluefin tuna, please consider a specially designed rod such as the Gouki if you are targeting 200kg+ class fish.
The advantages of a solid carbon blank can perhaps be fully utilized in extreme situations. Rather than bending the rod to land the fish, you can use the rod's bend to its limits and employ an aggressive fishing style that takes full advantage of its 6-foot length . This new Expedition model inherits the basic specifications for targeting large fish, while evolving only the guide setting to be specialized for combat. Get your hands on one.
SPECIFICATIONS
Until now, large tuna were only caught by casting. However, thanks to the evolution of metal jigs, explosive catches are being reported from all over the country with jigging that focuses on the fall.
With a length of 6 feet that enhances versatility from slow pitch to high pitch, this is a rod that we would like you to use not only for tuna but also for deep-sea amberjack and on fishing expeditions. We strongly recommend using it with a large baitcasting reel or electric reel.
This heavy-duty rod is designed for targeting tuna and giant amberjack using large baitcasting or electric reels.
It also boasts high versatility, capable of handling lures around 1000g in super deep jigging at depths of over 600m. While it may not offer the high-rebound handling of a tubular carbon rod, its "overwhelming advantage" in prolonged fights with extra-large fish is on a level unmatched by any other rod.
