Ergonomic design

By offsetting the thumb rest towards the handle arm, it becomes possible to grip more deeply and powerfully during a fight, preventing force dispersion and achieving powerful and stable reeling. The clutch bar also features an asymmetrical design to prevent accidental interference with the palm of the hand and accidental pressing during palming.

Cam lock lever

The cam lock lever for opening the palm side plate is located on the underside of the side plate. When the cam lock lever is in the "open" position, the claw portion of the lever protrudes, so it is designed to prevent forgetting to tighten the lever.

MagTrax™ Brake System

Abu Garcia's MAGTRAX brake prevents backlash with its reliable and simple structure. The number of internal magnets can be adjusted to suit your casting skill. Its key feature is that the brake engages reliably from the moment the lure is released during casting, ensuring backlash even when using lures with high air resistance in headwinds. It also enables pinpoint targeting during pitching with lightweight rigs and short-distance casting. It comes with six magnets by default.

90mm aluminum handle + integrated molded knob

It features a paddle handle knob with a handle knob surface made of a highly elastic material that provides excellent grip and comfortable use, and a knob base that is molded in one piece, along with a 90mm crank-shaped aluminum handle.

33mm diameter spool

Featuring a 33mm outer diameter spool and a compact body design, this reel is designed to fit comfortably in the hands of Japanese anglers. It can handle a wide range of fishing styles with a line capacity of 16lb-100m and PE #3-100m.
