Magnus manufacturing method, this mid-range fighter combines flexibility with "torque fibers that spiral." Marked with a demon spear, this aggressive rod can target a variety of fish in the 2-6 kg class even with lightweight lures. A mid-range roll rod for targeting medium-sized trout, big bass, and trout from around the world other than salmon. Its power and torque have been tested to handle unexpected big catches, including monsters weighing over 10 kg. Use it with confidence in situations where you are targeting large fish. It is also a twitch and jerk rod that excels at plugging.
Furthermore, it comes standard with a folding guide on the butt section, making it highly portable and easy to carry anywhere.
This rod was made for anglers who love travel and adventure. When you face new challenges in uncharted waters, it will surely live up to your expectations as your best companion.

"Magnus"
X3G x HDML x COS x OMT
Toray's carbon prepreg, using the latest materials T1100G and M40X, achieves a tensile strength 30 percent higher than conventional models. The Magnus manufacturing method is a technology that makes the most of these materials. The high-modulus 40t carbon called M40X is given torque and resilience that makes it more resilient the more it is bent. By completely overcoming the weakness of high-modulus carbon, which is its brittleness, it succeeds in enhancing its advantages of lightness, fast response speed, and high sensitivity. The Jetsetter, assembled using the Magnus method, further emphasizes the concept of flexibility, giving anglers the feeling that "it feels the same, but the performance is a cut above the rest."
[X3G] The main pillar supporting the Magnus method is "Xross 3 Generation." "X3G" mainly uses cutting-edge materials in terms of materials, which greatly affect the performance of the rod. The materials used in the Magnus method are 100% domestically produced carbon. Toray's latest third-generation materials "T1100G" and "M40X" are the main materials of MAGNUS, but in order to meet the complex and diverse needs of fishing styles, composite materials such as boron, titanium, quad-axis, bias carbon, and aramid are combined and crossed according to their application to always lead to the optimal solution.
The M40X resin is not a conventional general-purpose type, but a resin that employs cutting-edge nanotechnology, "nanoalloy." It boasts stable quality, i.e., high strength. High-modulus M40X carbon is clearly superior in sensitivity transmission compared to conventional low-modulus and medium-modulus carbon. When observing the cross-section of the Magnus blank, when the rod is flexing during casting or fighting, it deforms from a perfect circle to an ellipse, and the speed at which it returns from the ellipse to a perfect circle is unusually fast, which is a characteristic of the MAGNUS manufacturing method. With its outstanding shape recovery power, it achieves a supple, spring-like return and tenacity while maintaining an unprecedented crispness. Therefore, even with a slow taper, it suppresses "wobbling" and "fluttering," reduces unnecessary vibrations transmitted to the hand, and contributes to improved sensitivity.
[HDML] HDML structure. The innermost layer of the blank is made of high-modulus carbon, and towards the outermost layer are medium-modulus and low-modulus carbon, consisting of layers that have been proven to be the optimal solution through meticulous experiments and data. Even in ultra-thin tubular tips with a tip diameter of less than φ1.2mm, where advanced carbon wrapping techniques are required, 100% carbon is used in all directions: vertical, horizontal, and bias. Therefore, carbon, which surpasses glass in strength, rigidity, and lightness compared to conventional glass-carbon hybrids, achieves a high-level balance of the seemingly contradictory elements of dramatically increased strength and reduced lightness.
[COS] Conventional design methods generally employ prepreg cutting methods that prioritize cost reduction and mass production efficiency. MAGNUS blanks employ a method called COS (Cutting Optimized for Straightness) to increase strength and form straighter blanks. MAGNUS blanks do not fear cutting loss of carbon material and employ a cutting pattern called tacking that sets the optimal angle to match the mandrel taper used in each model. The carbon fibers along the vertical axis are arranged more parallel and linearly to the rod's axis, preventing twisting and bending of the blank and resulting in overwhelmingly superior breaking strength thanks to the individually designed CP (Coating Capacitor).
[OMT] Conventional design methods limit the materials that can be used, such as carbon and glass. In conventional rod design, the mandrel taper design was considered central to rod design, and it was said that the performance, taper, and stiffness of the fishing rod were determined by the mandrel taper. With MAGNUS blanks, there are tens of thousands of carbon material choices to choose from, and the strength lies in being able to freely design the blank to have the "optimal action," "stiffness," and "taper" by combining materials and structural design, without necessarily relying solely on the mandrel taper.
"Overall strength"
- A strange feeling of tenacity despite high elasticity
- Just by holding the rod, "fish come closer." Incredible underlying strength that makes you feel like there is still plenty of power left
- It is light, so at first glance it may not seem to have much power, but the torque and bulk feel are incredible - It
doesn't wobble. Casting feels great. Casting distance is dramatically increased. Lures fly with minimal effort
; the rod's flex is more noticeable
; and casting is stable. High accuracy. Can be cast with a clean, crisp motion.
- Allows you to cast lures far with minimal effort.
