GMB - Gojira Mecha Bearings

Gojira Mecha Bearings - A carbon fibre-reinforced, PTFE, & Graphite enhanced bearing with exceptional wear/corrosion resistance, low friction, high strength, and thermal stability.

Strong & light composition: G-Cells + Carbon Fibre + Graphite + PTFE.

Performance, cycle-stress durability: Ultra low coefficient of friction, excellent in wear resistance, high mechanical strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability.

Thermal & steam resistance: High service temp (up to 250°C continuously) and excellent resistance to hot water/steam.

Chemically inert: Highly resistant to a wide range of organic and inorganic liquids, including alcohols, fats, greases, oils. It is highly resistant to hot water, sea water, and steam. Biologically safe and biocompatible.

Recommended usage with a coating of #DeuthlonSports #SemiFluidGrease for high-load low-speed application, or #CastLube for high-speed application.

When used on bait spool support bearings for casting application, apply #CastLube on bearings inner surface for ultimate stability, consistency, variable conditions adaptability.

Application : GMBearings are designed for radial loads usage only. GMBearings will not work for applications with axial or combined load, such as angular contact bearings & certain spool support bearings on lever drag systems, pictured below.

IMPORTANT : Remove bearing pretensioner springs (Shimano/Daiwa) as GMBearings do not have moving parts to create unnecessary vibration/freeplay, e.g. pictured below.

Note (Pictured stacking sequence below) : Daiwa Magseal bearings sizes 5x9x4 can be replaced by combining 5x9x3 + 5x9x1. Magseal bearings sizes 6x10x4 can be replaced by combining 6x10x3 + 6x10x1.

Magseal Bearing = 5x9x3 + 5x9x1 or 6x10x3 + 6x10x1.
