Fuji® T2 Polished Dark-Gray Titanium Frame SiC-S Ring K-Guide

All guides feature rust-resistant, tough, and lightweight T2 polished dark gray titanium frame SiC guides, with lightweight, thin SiC-S rings used for all guides except the top guide where strength is required. The butt section uses ultra-lightweight T2-LRVSG short double-foot guides that do not hinder the action, the middle and tip sections use T2-KBSG and T2-KTSG guides, and the top guide is set to T2-KGST. This state-of-the-art ultra-lightweight small-diameter guide setting has the optimal number of guides to achieve smooth casting, excellent strength, sensitivity, and casting distance without hindering the rod's natural bend as much as possible. Butt guide size #12S, top guide size #6J.

Fuji® ORIGINAL PAINT REEL SEATS & EVA GRIP

The compact foregrip and rear grip are designed with optimal length to provide excellent power support during casting and balance during rod operation. The reel seat is painted in a glossy gunmetal color, and all aluminum checks are treated with a black anodized finish exclusive to the Black Collection. The grip material is EVA, which can be safely washed with water after use in saltwater.

ORIGINAL MATTE BLACK ALUMINUM + RUBBER END CAP

An original saltwater end cap that combines practicality and beauty. Designed for saltwater rods, where double-handed casting is the norm, it features a shape that is easy to grip during casting. It also has a moderate weight that is not too heavy so as not to hinder the rod's movement characteristics, and acts as a balancer for long rods. The aluminum fittings and rubber parts are joined with a complex internal structure to achieve sufficient strength and rigidity. The original rubber part securely protects the end, which is prone to scratches when used in the field. Even indoors, the rubber prevents the rod from tipping over when placed on slippery surfaces such as hardwood floors. The front surface of the aluminum fitting, which is black anodized exclusively for the Black Collection, is laser-engraved with "TAPER&SHAPE," and the rubber part of the end is molded in 3D with the designer's trademark.

NONPAINT FERALITE FERRULE

The joint uses a Ferra-Lite ferrule type. This offers many advantages, such as a sharper action even with the same curve when designing the taper, and less power loss. The joint area is intentionally left unpainted to avoid errors due to paint thickness and improve precision, while also utilizing the excellent grip of the blank materials to achieve a smooth and secure connection and disconnection. A small margin is left so that the unpainted area is slightly visible when joined. In addition, the model number is printed on the tip section, so you can easily select the correct rod even when multiple rods are bundled together.

ROD BAG / Rod Bag

Taper & Shape strongly recommends storing your rods in the included rod bag when storing or transporting them. This prevents scratches on the blank, which can cause rod damage, when you're not out in the field. The two gray securing straps have rubber on the back, so if the joint becomes difficult to remove, you can grip the rod blank with the rubber side to loosen it without slipping. Each model is sized specifically for this purpose, so it stores neatly and snugly. When storing, there is a loop at the top of the bag, so you can hang it with the grip facing downwards to avoid putting stress on the rod, and it is safe even for fiberglass rods that are prone to getting bent.
