Blade jigging, where you can catch Spanish mackerel just by reeling it in, has been spreading nationwide in recent years. Lures used are becoming more diverse, including dedicated blade jigs, lures with blade tuned versions of regular jigs, and even jerking minnows. The main cross section uses interrupted carbon unique to the 1G series, and the tip section flexibly bends to make it difficult for Spanish mackerel and bluefish to bite from the rear, while the belly and butt sections use a specially designed blank with tension to ensure a reliable hookup. Even when jerking a jerk minnow, it is possible to make the minnow move without bouncing it off the tide. This model has a wide range of uses other than blade jigging.
