In 2005, the "Gekka Bijin" (Moonlight Beauty) tackle, specifically designed for light saltwater fishing, first appeared in DAIWA's lineup. Like the beautifully blooming flower, the Gekka Bijin dances, and the angler moves with energy. The Gekka Bijin tackle has evolved to handle horse mackerel, a familiar target that sometimes requires an extremely delicate approach, and large, cunning rockfish that hide in the shadows of rocks and in gaps in seaweed, cautiously waiting for bait to appear nearby. The Gekka Bijin will continue to evolve together with anglers, providing joy and pleasure like never before experienced. The lustrous glow of the Gekka Bijin continues to illuminate the light saltwater game.
