BLACK DURACON PROJECT: Lightness Is a Weapon, Strength Is Pride.
A new manufacturing process (spinning) has greatly reduced the titanium wall thickness of the ff and f knobs, from the conventional 0.8mm to 0.4-0.6mm.
Although the wall is thinner, the compression effect of spinning keeps the knobs strong.
The knob collar is black DURACON® R+*.
As a result, the Fortissimo knob weighs less than half of the previous version, and the Forte knob is about 5.1g lighter.
Operation and comfort are dramatically improved: a next-generation lightweight knob that makes every cast lighter.
