D-Compact
Heavy Sinking Minnow 10 years of know-how packed into
the D-Compact

In 2003, Hitoshi Hiramoto created the heavy sinking minnow "D-Contact" as a new concept minnow that had never existed before, and now after 10 years, he is proposing a new minnow called "D-Compact". It is

not small in the sense that it is a "condensed" version of the minnow's developments over the years, but it is packed with amazing ease of use and feeding power.

Features

Body design:

The back is shaped like a "U" with the peak of buoyancy located directly above the center of gravity. And the flat sides enhance the flapping effect. The thin lip achieves a balance between sharp swimming, water bite, and strength.

Swim, Action

Wobble & roll 50/50% for a big wave swim. This makes it appealing even when just pulled. The short-pitch, fluttering inertial slide with a short movement range induces bites even in a small action zone. The sharp darts caused by hard twitches avoid "missing out". The reeling depth (still water) of the D-Compact 45 is 100cm, deeper than the D-Contact and D-Insight. The D-Compact 38 is 60cm.

"Ease of use" and "biting power" that won't jump out in any situation:

In situations where a lure would normally jump out of the water surface, such as an up twitch in a shallow or fast current, a U-shaped lure in a strong current from the side, or a down twitch in a complex and strong current of boulders, etc. In various situations that require delicate rod operation such as raising the rod angle or laying it down, and even in situations that require great care with line tension, the D-Compact's lip and body balance make it easy to control and it won't jump out, allowing it to make a strong appeal.

"Ease of use" and "biting power" that allow easy range control.

Whether shallow or deep, range control is very important. It is directly linked to the results when combined with the depth of the fish. Also, if you can't control it, you will lose your precious lure. What's important is the combination of rod angle, strength of action, and reeling speed. The D-Compact responds obediently to the angler's intentions.

The light and easy to use feel and the ability to hook

fish, the way it swims transmits signals clearly, and the weight of 3.5g (D-Compact 45) or 2.5g (D-Compact 38) makes it easy to create action and increases concentration.
