The "CROSS-BORDER TUNA" has finally arrived!
The lineup includes three variations: L/Light, M/Medium, and H/Heavy.
The blank is made of carbon tubular material, prioritizing maneuverability for jigging. This model was developed with the assumption that the fish will be fought while held under the arm.
The guides are titanium SiC, and the guide diameter is larger than the normal CROSS-BORDER, assuming the use of thick line. The butt guide is also raised, assuming the use of large reels. The reel seat is made of carbon and the reel is secured with a double nut to prevent loosening.
After five years of development, the tuna jigging rod that Yasuo Nishimoto envisioned is finally complete.

guide

I chose titanium SiC guides, increased the guide diameter, and raised the butt guide to accommodate large reels.
The number of guides is unconventional, with 10 for L, 11 for M, and 10 for H, but this was the best balance I found through testing.

Reel seat

The reel seat is made of carbon fiber with a diameter of φ19. This reel seat is highly rigid, and the reel is secured with a double nut, so it won't loosen even during high-load, long fights. There are no joints, so your hands won't get sore during fights.
The middle grip is also thicker and longer so you can get a firm grip on it.

blank

The blank is made of carbon tubular, prioritizing maneuverability for jigging. This model was developed with the assumption that the fish will be fought with the rod held under the armpit.
The length is 6'3", and the lineup includes L, M, and H. The L is designed with yellowfin tuna in mind, the M is for large yellowfin tuna and small bluefin tuna, and the H is designed for large bluefin tuna.
Even though it is a rod that prioritizes hook setting, the rod will bend when jigging, and the recoil from that bending will make the jig jump up. It's not that it doesn't bend at all. If you know how far you can bend the rod before it breaks, you can apply pressure by bending it while holding it under your armpit.
<The recommended fighting style is to fight with the rod bent under your armpit, as shown in the photo below.>
