The BC4 5.10 series has been redesigned as the Power Grip Edition.

Despite being a strong 4-piece rod, its sharp bend from the middle section and quick recovery make it easy to achieve long casting distances, resulting in lures flying like bullets. And the ease of handling fish is unparalleled.

The entire #4 grip section has been redesigned. Slip resistance and durability have been enhanced.

① Power Grip
As the subtitle suggests, the #4 butt section is equipped with a rubber grip, which prevents slipping and makes it easier to firmly grip and fight when facing large fish.
② Reel Seat
Uses a blank touch design. The seal sheet itself has been made thinner, making it easier to grip.
③ Grip below the trigger
All made of EVA.
④ End Grip
Changed to composite cork and EVA. Composite cork was adopted because it has a high coefficient of friction resistance, is less slippery, has moderate elasticity, and is more durable.

It can cast frequently used big baits of 2-4 ounces.

This is a heavy-class rod from the BC4 series of pack rods.
It's a model that enhances the feel of long-distance casting and pinpoint targeting with 2-4 ounce lures. To achieve this, the mid-section is 20% stronger than the MXH, and the tip section is also 10% stronger. As a result, the tip bends appropriately when a fish bites, and the rebound speed is adjusted to be slower, allowing it to follow the fish. The mid-section below does not bend too much, so a solid hookset is possible. This reinforcement of the section also allows for better power transfer when casting heavy lures, leading to increased initial velocity of the lure during the follow-through. When not using heavy lures, it is possible to cast from 10g. To prevent breakage even in the event of a sudden dive at your feet, the #2 and #3 sections have a resilient material wrapped around the middle layer, but this gimmick will not activate unless a monster fish is under load.

The specifications of your current BC4 5.10 series #1 to #3 will remain unchanged even with the new release. Therefore, you can purchase only the #4 (grip portion) and combine it with your existing #1 to #3 to create the POWER GRIPZ EDITION.
After the release of the POWER GRIPZ EDITION, we will begin selling the #4 (grip portion only) as soon as preparations are complete.

Please be careful of loose joints.

Due to the nature of pack rods, the joints may loosen after repeated casting.
If the joints are not properly connected, it can lead to damage to the joints or even cause the rod to break. Applying ferrule wax will prevent the joints from coming loose during casting and protect the joints from sticking after moisture has entered. We recommend checking that the joints are not loose after several casts and applying ferrule wax.
