Equipped with a 30mm diameter ultra-duralumin BF spool specially designed for the TATULA. KTF's Sawamura participated in the development of the brake. This reel's appeal lies in its ability to adapt to any casting method simply by setting the magnetic dial once. Thanks to the synergistic effect with TWS, the released line does not lose speed, resulting in excellent casting accuracy that smoothly delivers the lure to the target point with a low trajectory. It is compatible with light rigs such as small rubber jigs and weightless rigs, as well as small hard baits. Equipped with "HYPERDRIVE DESIGN" that maintains initial rotation performance for a long time, the frame and gear-side plate are made of aluminum alloy. Even under heavy load, it supports the angler with smooth rotation performance and rigidity that provides a reassuring solid feel. Drag performance has also been refined and equipped with a drag clicker. With a solid setup, it takes on big bass.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN

HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR
A newly designed gear system that pursues sustained strong and smooth rotation. By increasing the meshing ratio without reducing the module (size) of the gear teeth, which directly affects durability, DAIWA's unique technology achieves long-lasting initial smoothness.
HYPER ARMED HOUSING
The housing system provides high rigidity and precision to firmly support the internal structure, resulting in a refined winding feel and powerful performance. The use of metal material for the crucial frame is a necessary condition, and in combination with the side plates and set plates, it enables the basic performance to be maintained for an even longer period.
HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH
This clutch system offers not only sharp on/off performance that allows it to slide thousands or even tens of thousands of times, but also extremely reliable performance even in saltwater environments with high salinity. BF-Concept
With easy setup, you can cast even ultra-lightweight lures with ease
. It's ideal for ultra-lightweight lures. With a quick swing of the rod for pitching, the lure flies smoothly in a low trajectory, and even with normal casting, it achieves casting distances that are comparable to or even better than spinning reels. The ability to alternate between pitching and casting without readjusting the brake force is another major feature of the "Daiwa BF".
Equipped with a finesse-specific BF spool that maximizes finesse performance. To accommodate ultra-light lures, it features an ultra-lightweight spool and micro ball bearings. Not only does it allow for more effortless handling of smaller, lighter lures, but it also enables "longer casts and softer landings." A powerful weapon to ensure you don't miss that last fish even in the toughest conditions.
TWS (T-WING SYSTEM)
TWS has successfully reduced resistance at the line guide closest to the spool, where the spool rotation speed is highest. By reducing the resistance to casting distance, it not only improves casting distance and control beyond conventional methods, but also allows for faster fall and reduced backlash. It has realized new possibilities for level wind not only during retrieval, but also during casting.
UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag)
DAIWA's drag system eliminates the initial sticking when the drag starts to engage, achieving smooth and consistent drag without any sticking, while also providing maximum drag force that increases the tighter you tighten it.
Zero Adjuster
First, adjust the "Zero Adjuster" and set the "Spool Play Zero" setting. Thanks to the evolution of magnetic brakes, it is now possible to control all lures using only the magnetic dial. The
"Zero Adjuster" is a mechanism that allows you to enjoy fishing comfortably without malfunctions during fishing by adjusting it to the "zero setting" before starting to fish.
*The "Spool Play Zero" setting is the setting that leaves a slight amount of play (about 0.2 mm) and does not press against the spool.

Equipped with a drag clicker. A drag clicker is a mechanism that makes a clicking sound when the line is pulled out during a fight with a fish, allowing you to hear the drag working. It is an essential mechanism for gaining an advantage in the game when using thin lines.
