S61L-SV

This finesse worming rod has all the elements required for spinning at a high level, including unparalleled casting accuracy, sensitivity as if you were looking underwater, and operability that allows you to control the lure at will. It is versatile enough to be used with all finesse rigs such as Neko rigs, down shot rigs, and no-sinker rigs. A monumental spinning rod has been completed for modern bass fishing.
Its versatility transcends borders

"Fujita was very particular about the specs of the '61L' and created a rod that was thoroughly tested over a long period of time"... It wasn't. Fujita and DAIWA's works engineers worked closely together, sharing their ideals and techniques with each other, and as a result, the "miracle rod" was among the several early prototypes they made.
Fujita: "It was exactly as I imagined it from the beginning, so apart from the cosmetics, we made almost no changes.
" Engineer A: "Yes. Fujita has a clear 'ideal image'. So if it matches up perfectly, it's OK in one shot. Conversely, if there's even the slightest deviation, he keeps saying, 'That's not right.' Either way, the direction of development doesn't waver or there's no going back. He has a keen sense for tools and can evaluate things individually, without being influenced by the test situation. He doesn't end up saying, 'In the current situation, the previous sample was better...'"
Engineer B: "One thing that made an impression on me was when we were identifying the small corrections that needed to be made, Fujita asked me, 'What would you do, Mr. B?' I thought he was humble and greedy to make things better. He basically wanted to know what DAIWA and I can do for you. I felt like he was mildly provoking me, and it fired me up (laughs).
" Fujita: "I didn't mean to do that (laughs). But I just thought there must be a lot more rod-making technology at DAIWA that I didn't know about."

-- JB Top 50 victory and promotion to BASS Elite
The S61L-SV is a light versatile machine that allows you to "control" any lightweight rig and is also compatible with plugging shads, but when talking about its versatility, Fujita's success in Japan and the United States is also essential.
In 2022, Fujita double-entered the JB Top 50 and the BASS Open. In the Top 50, he won the opening round at Onga River and finished 5th in the annual ranking despite missing one race. In the Open Northern Division, he came in 2nd overall and achieved the feat of earning a ticket to the elite in his first year of participation.
In all of the Japanese and American competitions, where there is a wide variety of field environments, fish sizes and habits, lines and lures to be combined, Fujita caught bass with this S61L-SV.
