Based on the lightweight spinning reel "LUVIAS", the special tune model "24LUVIAS ST (Sensitive Tune)"
is a lineup of six models specialized for finesse fishing, including ST LT and ST SF.

While maintaining the basic performance of the 24LUVIAS LT/SF, the BB of the main rotating part, which is directly related to the lightness of the handle rotation, has been changed from a grease-type BB to an oil-type BB. By abandoning the high durability that is the characteristic of grease BB and choosing an oil BB with low viscosity, the lightness of rotation has been pursued to a high level. In addition, the mag shield of the pinion part, which is the key to waterproofing and dustproofing, has been deliberately not adopted, and attention has been paid to even a slight weight reduction that is not listed in the specifications.

As for the design, it is based on the 24LUVIAS LT/SF, but the spool has been changed to matte black, and the handle and engine plate have been changed to gunmetal (LUVIAS LT/SF is gunmetal x silver), creating a stoic world view.

AIRDRIVE DESIGN
Air Drive Design is a next-generation spinning reel design concept that pursues the angler's desire to operate the lure as they wish. Air Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. The prerequisite is the installation of an Air Drive Rotor that produces light winding and high-response rotation, a lightweight and trouble-free Air Drive Bail, a thin-walled Air Drive Spool that has been shaved off unnecessary material to the limit and pursues weight reduction, and an Air Drive Shaft that supports the main shaft with a high-precision collar and has a non-contact structure with the pinion gear, allowing for light winding with extremely little rotation noise even under high load. The synergistic effect of these and the improvement of the weight balance of the reel achieve a high level of operability.

AIR DRIVE ROTOR
Using our unique theory, we have derived a new shape that looks as if it was cut out of a sphere, and by thoroughly removing unnecessary material from it, we have achieved a significant weight reduction while maintaining rigidity. This has dramatically improved the lightness of the reel, which leads to improved operability and sensitivity.
AIR DRIVE BAIL
The Air Veil has adopted a hollow pipe structure that provides rigidity and light weight, but in order to achieve further weight reduction, the diameter has been made smaller while maintaining the necessary strength. The veil angle is set to the optimum angle to allow the line to transition more smoothly from the veil to the line roller. This has made it even lighter and less troublesome.
AIR DRIVE SPOOL
A thin-walled design that eliminates unnecessary material and achieves weight reduction. The thin-walled design of the spool skirt and the hollowing out of the inside of the spool are the key to weight reduction. The lighter spool improves ease of winding and casting. In addition, the drag sound mechanism with low operating resistance improves response when the drag is activated.
AIR DRIVE SHAFT
The system uses a non-contact structure between the main shaft and pinion, a linear shaft that eliminates friction, and supports both ends of the pinion with bottom brackets, maximizing the power input to generate torque. Furthermore, the main shaft is supported by a high-precision collar, which reduces rotational noise to the maximum.

MONOCOQUE BODY
Strong and durable technology, monocoque body. Conventional spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover, and secure them with several screws. In order to further improve precision and rigidity, the monocoque body eliminates the body cover and secures the gear by screwing a high-precision plate directly into the body. This improves the support precision of the gear, and also improves rigidity and airtightness. Furthermore, by utilizing the space previously taken up by the screw, we have succeeded in expanding the size of the drive gear to its maximum. The monocoque body means MONO (one) - COQUE (shell). The completely new shape, which symbolizes the strength of a single shell, breaks the conventional wisdom of reel structure.
ZAION
DAIWA's unique technology has succeeded in molding a special resin with high density carbon fiber woven into it, which is extremely difficult to process. This is the pinnacle of DAIWA carbon material, combining incredible lightness and strength. Only high-end models are allowed to wear this performance.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR
To survive in harsh environments, a reel needs a strong heart. "Tough Digigear" keeps the rotation smooth for longer.
ATD TYPE-L
The ATD operates smoothly and continues to work smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. The ATD TYPE-L has improved initial response. It pursues smooth start and tracking, allowing you to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.
LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)
While keeping the idea of reducing the contact resistance of ABS II, the contact point has been moved forward to achieve smoother line release. The effect of the ring part moving forward makes it difficult for the line to get caught on the ring, which has resulted in an approximately 5% increase in distance and trouble-free performance over the conventional ABS II. This is the next generation ABS spool that achieves LC (= LONG CAST).

■SENSITIVE TUNE
The BB (bearing) of the main rotating part, which is directly related to the lightness of rotation, has been changed from the grease specification BB (CRBB) of the normal model to an oil specification BB, which is a special tune that realizes a delicate and direct winding feel. Furthermore, since it is assumed that it will be used for finesse fishing, the mag shield of the pinion part has been removed to make it as light as possible.
■Super duralumin MC (machine cut) tough digital gear
The MC Tough Digigear is made of ultra-super duralumin, and is made by cold forging high-strength material and then cutting with high precision to create the ideal gear.
The four SF size items have a special surface treatment that increases the surface hardness of the gear to reduce the adverse effects caused by sudden force.
■ Stopperless body
The body structure has been simplified by removing the stopper. The decision to remove the stopper, which is a route through which water and foreign objects can get in, not only reduces weight and improves waterproof performance, but also minimizes the risk of sudden trouble when fishing in harsh environments or with large fish, which are required of the 24LUVIAS ST.
■High-grip I-type finesse knob
Adopted "High Grip I-type Finesse Knob" that matches delicate fishing. Lightweight knob with hollowed out surface allows reeling with light force and contributes to improved winding sensitivity.
Improved winding sensitivity is a big advantage in area trout, native trout, and light salt games that require delicate retrieval performance. High grip specification ensures firm grip performance and easy gripping despite its small and lightweight design.

■Perfect Line Stopper
A new line stopper shape that is compatible with thin lines such as PE and thick lines such as leaders. The horizontal shape saves vertical space and contributes to reducing the weight of the spool.
